a person who habitually expresses negative or pessimistic views: Despite a general feeling that things were going well, a few naysayers tried to cast gloom.

We are here in the most ironic way. Skateboard is and should be fun, so we are taking it back. We may be from the East Coast, but that doesn’t mean we have to pigeon hole ourselves. Sure, NYC is raw and grimey, but we’re trying to soften it up and let loose. It is only skateboarding and as Wax said: “Not trying to change the world, just making fun of it!”
