Halloween is by far the coolest pseudo-holiday. A time where even the most reserved people can get loose and do something out of the ordinary. We, here at Naysayer, decided to take full advantage. With a clip coming tomorrow, Colin Sussingham shot over some photos he took in the process. I posted more on our Facebook page and will be adding some to our media section, but if you want to see all of them, check out his blog.

Dylan James – Frontside wallride on the pillar at the Brooklyn Banks. He is a giraffe character that he made up and is featured on some 2nd Nature shop decks.

Dylan – Fingerflip lien to tail on the bmx quarter at the banks. I was filming him as Beetlejuice.

We went to the bowl the other night equipped with a fog machine, cobwebs and assorted other props. We started shooting on the wall and Dylan came in strong with this fastplant. I think he landed it twice, actually.

Taji, who skates for Acapulco Gold, came through to skate and take some photos for some project he is working on. Rock fakie.

Dylan – Frontside air through the fog.

Conor Fay, of Coda Skateboards, came though too. I skate and film with Conor all the time and he rips pretty hard, so I was stoked that he was able to make it out and be in the clip. Here he is demonstrating that ripping I was talking about with a back disaster from the lower transition to the side of the wall, as Jason.

Next we moved over to the hip where Dylan easily frontside tuckknee’ed over it a couple times.

Conor – Backsmith around the corner…I think he did 3 for good measure. Dylan was filming because I was going for a trick.

Is that the moon?! Conor backside disastered the big wall.

Dylan was doing some sweepers on the big wall when he was challenged by Dan Carreiro to go from high to low. He obliged.

I liked the way this one was shot, where Dylan’s tail is right in the lens.

Same my name three times…

Since I was filming most of the time, I only did a couple tricks. Here is my ollie over the hip to tailslide…holding a skull (probably should have been holding it the other way).

The last section we set up at was the curved wall. Conor has some proper 5-0s.

Conor charges his smiths, long and powerful. He did one to revert too.

Dylan ending us off with a nice hurricane.

Filming for this has been pretty fun and I might do some more last minute stuff today. Hadrien sent me some clips and Pete and Jerry should be sending some over too. So check back tomorrow for the video evidence. Honestly, it might be later in the day tomorrow since any last minute clips today will still have to be edited in. In the meanwhile, watch the clip I made last year for Halloween:
